On Friday, Silver Lake got the W thanks in part to Katy Soucek playing the best basketball she has all season. Soucek dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process.

Soucek and Silver Lake will challenge Franklin on Tuesday. The Mustangs got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Flyers, probably because Soucek had a solid game then too: she went 7 for 12 on her way to 16 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.
