Caro is 1-9 against Laker since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Caro Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Laker Lakers at 7:30 p.m. Caro is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road.
Even though Caro has not done well against Bad Axe recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Caro came out on top against Bad Axe by a score of 44-35.
Evan Langmaid was his usual excellent self, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaidon Buniack, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Laker can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 65-24 victory over Vassar on the road. That looming 65-24 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Laker yet this season.
Caro has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Laker, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Caro couldn't quite finish off Laker when the teams last played back in December of 2023 and fell 54-51. Can Caro avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
