Seminole hasn't had much luck against Lake Howell recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Seminoles will be playing at home against the Silverhawks at 7:00 p.m. Seminole is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.
Seminole barely beat DeLand the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Seminoles never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Friday. The Seminoles haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The result came thanks to Ava Matthews's shutout, as she gave up just a hit and racked up 11 Ks. Those 11 strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.
On the hitting side, Seminole got a massive performance out of Alexandra Steffano, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits Steffano has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Maggie Long, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Seminole was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Lake Howell waltzed into their contest on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Lions.
Rhianna Hudson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up ten Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cate Haggerty, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Sanae Honore was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.
Lake Howell's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Seminole, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.
