Vardaman came into Saturday's match having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Calhoun City Wildcats on Saturday as they made off with a 21-4 win. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

Vardaman got a massive performance out of Haley Parker, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. What's more, Parker posted five RBI, the most she's had over her last ten contests. Another player making a difference was Addi Lucius, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, three doubles, and four RBI.

Vardaman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Calhoun City only posted an OBP of .320.

Vardaman's victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Calhoun City, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Vardaman has already played their next match, a 14-7 win against Smithville on the 8th. As for Calhoun City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-0 victory against Water Valley on the 7th.
