Another player making a difference was Ja'Darius Mccombs, who rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns.
Mooresville's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of AJ Graham and Darian Reid. With that strong performance, Graham is now averaging an impressive 3.5 total tackles per game. Another thorn in Reagan's side was Jamari Farmer, who made 13 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, West Rowan didn't have too much trouble with Davie on the road on Monday as they won 25-8.
Mooresville's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-1. As for West Rowan, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
