Harvest Community is 0-6 against Eagle's View since February of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. Harvest Community will venture away from home to face off against Eagle's View at 6:30 p.m. Harvest Community is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
Harvest Community not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 29, 2024. Everything went their way against Cedar Creek Christian as Harvest Community made off with a 12-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won six in a row.
Khason Krey was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Jonathan Drost and Quinn King did most of the damage at the plate: Drost scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while King scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Harvest Community is 2-1 when Drost posts two or more runs, but 1-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Nate Barnett, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Harvest Community kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cedar Creek Christian only managed five hits.
Meanwhile, Eagle's View didn't have quite enough to beat Paxon School For Advanced Studies on Tuesday and fell 9-8. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Like Harvest Community, Eagle's View also got a great game from a two-way player: Tyson Brown. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Brown was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Kenai Wilkens made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Those RBI marked the first that he brought in this season. Peyton Bryan was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-4.
Eagle's View's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Harvest Community, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-5.
Eagle's View's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Harvest Community has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .515. It's a different story for Eagle's View, though, as they've only averaged .354. Will they be able to contain Harvest Community's hitters?
Harvest Community suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Eagle's View in their previous meeting back in April of 2017. Can Harvest Community avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
