Grundy Center were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They took the matchup and then some with a 38-0 victory on Friday over GMG. Followers of Grundy Center probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories. The contest brought Grundy Center to 4-1 and dropped GMG to a mirror-image 1-4.
Grundy Center will be staying on the road next week, facing off against North Tama. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. As for GMG, they will face off against East Buchanan. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
