The Nordonia Knights lost against the Howland Tigers back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Nordonia was dealt a 61-29 loss at the hands of Howland. Nordonia was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-16.
Howland can attribute much of their success to Alyssa Massucci, who scored 20 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Massucci has scored at least 25% of Howland's points. Another player making a difference was Sophia Powell, who scored 10 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Nordonia and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Howland, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Nordonia will be playing in front of their home fans against Solon at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Howland, they will head out on the road to face off against East at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
