Softball Recap: North Greene Has No Trouble Against University School

North Greene won the last time they faced University School and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Huskies put the hurt on the Buccaneers with a sharp 11-1 win. Considering the Huskies have won five games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for North Greene and bumps their season record up to 6-3. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-12 University School and 4-6 Unaka. As for University School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. North Greene will square off against rival Cloudland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, University School is set to challenge their familiar foe Unaka at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
