They were the clear victor by a 45-23 margin over Culver Community. That's two games straight that LaVille has won by exactly 22 points.
LaVille found their leader in underclassman Ava Weil, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Smith, who scored eight points.
LaVille has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. As for Culver Community, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
LaVille will square off against Wheeler at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Wheeler is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games. Culver Community's road trip will continue as they head out to face Marquette Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th. Marquette Catholic presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Culver Community in Indiana (Marquette Catholic is ranked 128th, while Culver Community is ranked 375th).
