Harrison County never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Nicholas County Bluejackets with a sharp 11-0 win. The Thorobreds/Fillies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matches by seven runs or more this season.

Isabella Persinger was a standout: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexie Highlander, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Harrison County lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Nicholas County didn't launched any home runs.

Harrison County pushed their record up to 22-1 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.9 runs on average over those games. As for Nicholas County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Harrison County has already played their next contest (against Non Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Nicholas County, they will challenge Frankfort at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bluejackets are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
