When it comes to Diamond State high school boys basketball, Jonesboro shines bright. The Hurricane top the list of the most dominant team of the past decade.
And though Nos. 2 and 3, Parkview (Little Rock) and North Little Rock, respectively, can claim more state titles than the Hurricane, Jonesboro's consistent level of excellence — the program has finished in the state Top 25 each year in the past decade — push their point total to the top.
Speaking of the Patriots, Parkview owns five state titles in the past decade, including three straight from 2016-18. And the Charging Wildcats have grabbed four 7A crowns since 2010.
