On Friday Strother take on Bowlegs at 7:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps national rankings project a close game.
Strother couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. It was close but no cigar for Strother as they fell 36-38 to Dewar last Friday. Strother got a solid performance out of junior Jaxon Douthit, who threw 3 TDs and picked up 45 yards on the ground; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory. In fact, with 14 tackles Douthit was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Bowlegs took a serious blow against Maud, falling 0-50.
