Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Tescott should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They take on Rock Hills at 8 Man II District #4 Game. Tescott come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 8-58, which was the final score in Tescott's tilt against Lakeside last Friday. Tescott were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 8-52.
Meanwhile, after a disappointing 0 points in the matchup before, Rock Hills made sure to put some points up on the board against Linn. Rock Hills steamrollered Linn 54-8. The Rock Hills offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the contest anyway.
Rock Hills's win lifted them to 3-1 while Tescott's defeat dropped them down to 0-4. In their victory, Rock Hills relied heavily on junior Rylee Whelchel, who rushed for 179 yards and 5 touchdowns. Tescott will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
