The Mullins Auctioneers will square off against the Atlantic Collegiate Academy Armada at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The timing isn't great for Mullins: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while Atlantic Collegiate Academy has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.
Mullins is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Kingstree  a   14-0 shutout  on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Auctioneers needed considering they were shut out in their previous   contest.
 Adam Shaw tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in April of 2024.
 At the plate,  Lonnie Alston was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  home run, three  stolen bases,  and five  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in April of 2024.  Mykell Raysor was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Mullins  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .600. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Atlantic Collegiate Academy's hitters rose to the challenge against a Wolverines pitching crew that boasted an average of only 4.06  runs allowed on Tuesday. The Armada were the clear victors by  a  10-1 margin over East Clarendon. Considering the Armada have won five games by more than eight  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
Atlantic Collegiate Academy also got a great performance from  Gavin Street as he  struck out six batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits (and only one walk).
 On the hitting side, Atlantic Collegiate Academy let  Reed Gallup and  Coleman Strickland run wild. Gallup  scored a  run while going 2-for-3, while  Strickland  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Chase Foxworth, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-5.
 Mullins' first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-16. As for Atlantic Collegiate Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
