2A Greater St. Helens recap November 13, 2013
Mark Morris extended the longest winning streak in 2A Greater St. Helens this week by beating Capital, 13-10. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Monarchs.
Long led the league in scoring this week after putting up 28 points on Long.
Long's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Lumberjacks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ryan Peerboom has thrown for 967 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Brady Hulings has 24 catches for 528 yards.
Mark Morris made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,919 from 2,478. The improvement was largely due to a 13-10 victory over the Cougars last week.
