The Baldwin Braves stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Perry 74-23 at home. The win was nothing new for Baldwin as they're now sitting on 12 straight.
Baldwin's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madison Ruff, who scored 16 points along with six assists and six steals. Ruff has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kassidy Neal, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Baldwin's victory was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36.29 points. As for Perry, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.
Baldwin will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Washington County at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Washington County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday. Perry won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Westside at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Westside has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
