Shea is a perfect 8-0 against Times Squared Academy since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Raiders will face off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Shea put up the most runs they have all season on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Mt. Pleasant as they made off with a 23-2 victory. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

Clara Perez made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run but no hits. Perez was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, nine RBI, and four runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on D'Laziah Hayes, who went 1-for-2 with three runs and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Melany Lopes, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.

Shea always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .730. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Times Squared Academy came into Tuesday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past Paul Cuffee 16-5 on Tuesday.

Shea is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Times Squared Academy, their record now sits at 3-10.

Shea took their victory against Times Squared Academy in their previous meeting two weeks ago by a conclusive 13-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
