The Onalaska Wildcats will be playing at home against the Shepherd Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Onalaska will be strutting in after a victory while Shepherd will be coming in after a loss.
Onalaska had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Coldspring-Oakhurst by a score of 61-52 on Friday. The win was just what Onalaska needed coming off of a 72-24 defeat in their prior contest.
It was another big night for Mary Joy Cariaga, who scored 26 points along with six steals and five assists. Shaylan Linear was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five steals.
Shepherd suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. Their rough 44-20 defeat to Coldspring-Oakhurst might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Shepherd has scored all season.
Onalaska's win bumped their record up to 16-13. As for Shepherd, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
