Softball Recap: Glenns Ferry Now 10-2 over Last 12 Games

There's no place like home for Glenns Ferry, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Rimrock Raiders on Wednesday as they made off with an 18-1 win. The Pilots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Taylor Martinez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Peyton Stewart, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and four runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since April 4th. Marlee Mason was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
