Long Posts Huge Game in 59-7 Victory
Starting off the list is Miller's Trevor Long, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Long threw for 310 yards and six touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
Miller has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Long will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against King on Thursday.

Gregory-Portland Wins Third-Straight Thanks to Reed Dooms
Reed Dooms's big game helped extend Gregory-Portland's winning streak to three on Friday. Dooms was unstoppable, throwing for 218 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes, while also rushing for 69 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
If the past is any indication, Dooms could be in store for another big game when he takes on Carroll on Thursday. Dooms threw for 322 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per attempt, and also punched in a rushing score the last time he and the Tigers duked it out back in August of 2023.

Brian Mccullum Puts an End to Ray's Losing Streak on Friday
Brian Mccullum helped snap Ray's six-game losing streak. Mccullum produced his best game of the campaign on Friday: he rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Ray's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. Mccullum and Ray will head out to square off against Corpus Christi Moody at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Dufour Made His Presence Known in Corpus Christi Moody's 56-12 Defeat
Rounding off our Top Five is Kayden Dufour of Corpus Christi Moody. Dufour rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. His longest rush was for an impressive 61 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
This year, Dufour has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 121.6 rushing yards per game.
