Volleyball Recap: Northside Extends Winning Streak to Three

Northside entered their tilt with South Lamar on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Stallions by a score of 2-0. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Stallions, too.

Northside not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept South Lamar between 17 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18.

Haley Brooke Lyons paced Northside's offense, picking up seven kills. Lyons got some help from Aiden Sharbutt and her 18 assists. Claire Jones controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Northside's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for South Lamar, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Northside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Center Point on the 23rd. As for South Lamar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Central on the 23rd.
