Philadelphia Academy Charter dropped their record down to 5-2 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 13-6 to the Franklin Towne Warriors. Sophia Blaisdell was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Philadelphia Academy Charter and Franklin Towne should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Chargers will challenge String Theory at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (87 vs. 364). Meanwhile, Franklin Towne (ranked 110th) will meet Archbishop Ryan (ranked 414th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
