West Nodaway hadn't done well against East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Rockets put the hurt on East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Rockets as they're now sitting on three straight.

West Nodaway walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16, 25-18.

Bella Walker paced West Nodaway's offense, picking up seven kills. Walker got some help from Annalee Livengood and her 21 assists. Emalee Wynn controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

West Nodaway's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax], their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-5-1.
