Meanwhile, Greenfield's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Dadeville, falling 57-22. While losing is never fun, Greenfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 558th, while Dadeville is ranked 221st).
Early's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Greenfield, their loss was their 12th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-18.
Everything came up roses for Early against Greenfield when the teams last played back in January of 2022 as the team secured a 78-29 victory. Will Early repeat their success, or does Greenfield have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
