Upland had won two straight games and Nathaniel Stevens did his part to make it three on Monday. The Highlanders/Scots walked away with a 3-1 win over the Damien Spartans with plenty of help from Stevens, who had 18 digs. He has been hot for a while, having posted 18 or more digs the last 11 times he's played.

Upland was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 25 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 0-25, 25-0.

Upland's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Damien, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.

Upland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Chino Hills on the 15th. As for Damien, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Claremont on the 15th.
