Clarkston entered their tilt with Grosse Pointe South on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 3-0 win. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Wolves this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17, 25-12.

Clarkston got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Stella Smith out in front who had 11 digs and two assists. Natalie Sowle also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Clarkston's win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Clarkston will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Northville at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th. As for Grosse Pointe South, they will square off against Dakota at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Blue Devils' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
