Volleyball Recap: Sydney Locke Key Part of Team Effort in Tigers Win

Groton won the last time they faced Faulkton and things went their way on Monday too. The Tigers blew past the Trojans 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Groton walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-20, 25-16.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Groton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sydney Locke, who had 18 digs and one assist. Those 18 digs gave Locke a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerica Locke, who had 15 digs and one assist.

Groton's victory bumped their record up to 23-5. As for Faulkton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-15.

Groton has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Milbank on the 28th. As for Faulkton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Wolsey-Wessington on the 28th.
