The Orme Warriors's game back in December of 2023 was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They skirted past Leupp Boarding 43-41.
Orme was led to victory by Owen Rudolph and Preston Tisi. Rudolph dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, while Tisi dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Tisi pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Welty, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds.
Orme now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Leupp Boarding, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Orme will head out on the road to face off against Caurus Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Caurus Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Orme in Arizona (Caurus Academy is ranked 108th, while Orme is ranked 226th). As for Leupp Boarding, they will look to defend their home court on January 18th against American Heritage Academy at 5:00 p.m.
