Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Millennium Tigers walked away with it. They never let the Chargers onto the board and left with a 7-0 win on Thursday. Millennium might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won eight games by five goals or more this season.
Their offense was hitting McClintock from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.
The win was the third in a row for Millennium, bringing their record for this year to 13-3-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three matchups. As for McClintock, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.
Millennium will head out on the road to face off against Sunrise Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sunrise Mountain has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 58 goals over their last eight contests. McClintock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
