St. John Lutheran's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Arisa Ford, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Ford grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabelle Baluyot, who scored five points along with six steals and five rebounds.
St. John Lutheran is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for HEART HomeSchool, they bumped their record down to 1-8 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John Lutheran will take on Redeemer Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Redeemer Christian will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for HEART HomeSchool, they will head out on the road to face off against Christian Learning Academy at 5:30 p.m. on December 21st.
