When it comes to explaining why Charlotte Catholic lost, one person who can't be blamed is Eddie David. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with six rebounds and two steals. David is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Liam Gates was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Charlotte Catholic struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Charlotte Catholic has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season. As for Providence, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-12.
