Haynes Academy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Mt. Carmel Cubs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Haynes Academy's defense has only allowed 25.6 points per game this season, so the Cubs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
In what's become a running theme this season, Haynes Academy gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sarah T. Reed 44-7 at home.
Meanwhile, Mt. Carmel beat the Cougars 53-44 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Mt. Carmel.
Haynes Academy pushed their record up to 15-5 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points per game. As for Mt. Carmel, their win bumped their record up to 9-14.
