The DASH United just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Fayetteville O Outliers at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. DASH knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Fayetteville O likes a good challenge.
DASH is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Eastern North Carolina School for the Deaf: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the United blew the Fighting Hornet out of the water with a 72-17 final score. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-13.

Jason Judd continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 7-for-9 on his way to 19 points. What's more, he also posted a 78% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Colten Brisbee, who posted 13 points.
Meanwhile, Fayetteville O took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging an 80-34 win over Covenant C. The Outliers pushed the score to 57-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Crusaders had little chance of recovering from.
Fayetteville O found their leader in sophomore Anthony Harris, who almost dropped a double-double with 29 points and nine assists. With that strong performance, Harris is now averaging an impressive 2.2 steals per game. Samuel Williams was another key player, shooting 45% from the field to rack up 22 points and four steals.
Fayetteville O was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
DASH's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Fayetteville O, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Friday's game is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: DASH has been dynamite from deep this season, having made 37.6% of their three-pointers per game. However, it's not like Fayetteville O struggles in that department as they've made 35.6% of their threes this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Everything came up roses for DASH against Fayetteville O when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured an 85-57 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Harris, who went 10-for-18 en route to 24 points and seven rebounds. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the United still be able to contain Harris? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
