Even though the Citrus Hill Hawks scored an imposing 72 points on Friday, the Big Bear Bears still came out on top. Big Bear secured a 76-72 W over Citrus Hill.
Ryder Dolan was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points. Aiden Brewer was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals.
Big Bear's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Citrus Hill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Big Bear will take on Apple Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Apple Valley's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Citrus Hill will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Perris at 5:30 p.m. on December 19th. Perris has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
