After losing to Oak Grove Lutheran the last time they met, Kindred decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Kindred took their match against Oak Grove Lutheran on Friday 29-21. The success made it back-to-back wins for Kindred.
Kindred's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 23 points in the first half. Oak Grove Lutheran came up with 14 to make it 23-14 heading into the break. Kindred were outperformed in the second half 6-7 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The game brought them to 2-1 and dropped Oak Grove Lutheran to a mirror-image 1-2.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Kindred take on Maple Valley/Enderlin at Enderlin at 7:00 PM. As for Oak Grove Lutheran, they will face off against Northern Cass.
