 Meanwhile, Gladwin came up short against Ludington on Saturday and fell  2-0. The Flying G's have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.
 Gladwin's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13-1. As for Clare, their win bumped their record up to 7-16.
 Clare came out on top in a nail-biter against Gladwin when the teams last played  two weeks ago, sneaking past  2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pioneers since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
