Bradley-Bourbonnais scaled the state rankings by moving to 96 from 122 this week, the biggest jump in Southwest Suburban - Red. The Boilermakers were able to move up by beating Pekin 24-20.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Lincoln-Way West beat Urban Prep-Bronzeville 48-8. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Kevin Johnson was a key player and the best on defense this week as Lincoln-Way North topped Thornton Fractional South. The 6-foot-2 defensive lineman racked up 1 sack.
Julian Hylton was a passing and rushing force as the Phoenix beat the Rebels. Hylton's key target this week was Zachary Hoekstra, who caught 3 passes for 24 yards.
