Big Game from Pearson As Tri-County Won 52-8
Starting off the list is Tri-County's Jonathan Pearson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Pearson rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 114 rushing yards dating back to last season.
North Newton's probably not too fond of Pearson given he always seems to get the better of them. When Pearson last faced the Spartans back in October of 2023, he rushed for 123 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries.

Hughes Made His Presence Known in West Central's 26-14 Win
West Central found a leader in Christian Hughes as the team took down North White on Friday. Hughes did his part (and then some), rushing for 66 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries for the 'W'.
West Central has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. They and LaVille are set to duel on Friday.

Kevin Martinez Makes It Two for Tri-County
Another Tri-County player making an appearance on this list is Kevin Martinez. He rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

Drea Villarreal Makes It Two for West Central
