It was a good run, but Crane unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Crosshill Christian Eagles by a score of 2-1. Crane's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Crosshill Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Crane wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against North Lake on the 19th. After both having extra time off, Crosshill Christian and East Linn Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on the 23rd. The game will give Crosshill Christian their first taste of in-conference action this season.
