Ozark has been on the road for four straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Branson Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Ozark fought the good fight in their overtime contest against the Falcons last Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 82-76 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. While losing is never fun, Ozark can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while the Falcons are ranked 59th).
Meanwhile, Branson lost to the Cardinals at home by a decisive 86-67 margin on Wednesday. Branson has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ozark's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Branson, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
Ozark skirted past the Pirates 69-66 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will Ozark repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
