After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Strongsville, John Hay were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 67-7 win over Glenville at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as John Hay also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2022.
It was another big night for Tylia Parker, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of John Hay's points. Another player making a difference was Sana Hicks, who scored 14 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds.
The victory got John Hay back to even at 2-2. As for Glenville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. John Hay will take on East Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Glenville, they will head out on the road to face off against Garrett Morgan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
