The Manheim Township Blue Streaks put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past William Penn 44-8 at home. Considering Manheim Township has won ten contests by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Hayden Johnson, who threw for 232 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Declan Clancy, who rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries.
Manheim Township has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 10-1 Harrisburg and 9-3 Spring-Ford (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 62% over those games). As for William Penn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.
Manheim Township will be playing at home against Cumberland Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cumberland Valley will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. William Penn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
