Jon Carlos Lampas-Gormley posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and not a single walk). He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Key West is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 5-6 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Lampas-Gormley and Key West will take on Monsignor Pace at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Key West hasn't beaten Monsignor Pace recently, having gone 0-4 since April of 2016.
