Duchesne will be defending their home turf for the first time on Thursday when they go up against Carbon at 5:30 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Duchesne had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 8-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Summit.
Meanwhile, Carbon couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell to Payson 0-13.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contest, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
