Nelson entered their tilt with Caldera with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. Nelson blew past Caldera 84-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
 Leading Nelson to victory were  Braylon  Gaines and  Sam Lewis.  Gaines  scored 20 points along with 8  rebounds, while  Lewis  scored 23 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Lewis has scored at least 25% of Nelson's points. Another player making a difference was  Lukas Jordan, who  scored 9 points along with 3  steals.
 Nelson's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Caldera, they now  have a losing record at 1-2.
 Nelson will be playing at home against Oregon City at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Oregon City has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Caldera, they will head out on the road to face off against Crook County at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
