AA Dulles recap Oct. 30, 2012
Briar Woods extended the longest winning streak in AA Dulles this week by beating Loudoun Valley, 45-0. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.
Briar Woods' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Falcons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Trace McSorley has thrown for 1399 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while Cameron Serigne has 29 catches for 502 yards. Cory Colder leads the league in rushing with 699 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Loudoun County takes on Briar Woods. The Raiders are currently in third, while Charlie Pierce's team is in first.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Loudoun County takes on the Falcons. Todd Hill's team has allowed 76 points this season, while Briar Woods has given up 62. The Raiders allowed 6 points last week as they defeated Heritage.
Loudoun County led AA Dulles in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on the Pride.
