Cornerstone Charter has not had much luck with the Yellowjackets recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Cornerstone Charter's loss came despite strong showings from D'Trevion Harris and Lake Bristol. Harris dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds, while Bristol scored ten points. Harris is crushing the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Seth Woodard, who scored five points.
Cornerstone Charter struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Jeremiah Glaspie continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Carver, scoring 26 points along with five steals and two blocks. Glaspie is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Jaqarius Houston was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six assists and five steals.
Cornerstone Charter has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Carver, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Cornerstone Charter's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. Millennium has now lost 16 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 13. As for Carver, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th.
