Baseball Recap: Gilbert Christian Comes Up Short at Home Against Kofa

Gilbert Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 8-1 to the Kofa Kings on Wednesday.

Gilbert Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabe Caballero, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gilbert Christian is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will square off against Arizona College Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kofa, they will square off against Cactus Shadows at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
