They took a 90-80 hit to the loss column at the hands of Greenacres Christian. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the defeat, Abundant Life Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Peyton Young scored 23 points. Another player making a difference was Enzo Lima, who scored 14 points.
Greenacres Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joshua Barthelemy led the charge by dropping a double-double on 39 points and 22 rebounds. Barthelemy is crushing the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brendan Daniels, who scored 25 points along with five assists and five steals.
